Move-Out Cleaning in Clinton, MA

Somebody is going to walk through this place with a list and open the oven. A move-out clean is that walkthrough worked backwards — the kitchen, the bathrooms, the closets and the floors under where the furniture stood, left the way the next person expects to find them.

Emptied closet cleaned inside and out before handover

For tenants facing a deposit and a landlord walkthrough, and for sellers whose buyer has a final inspection booked before the closing.

Written to the list somebody else is holding

A move-out clean is judged by another person. It might be a landlord with a printed checklist, a property manager filming a walkthrough, or a buyer's agent doing the final inspection on the morning of closing. We clean to what those lists actually check: appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, bathrooms, floors, and the walls and baseboards the furniture has been hiding. If you have been given the list, send it to us with your quote request.

Empty rooms show everything

Furniture leaves an outline. A dust line behind the dresser, scuffs along the wall where the couch sat, a paler patch of floor, marks on door frames from moving day itself. None of it shows while you live there and all of it shows the moment the rooms are bare. That is why this clean belongs after the last load rather than before it.

The last thing they see of you

Whoever walks in next forms an opinion in about a minute, and the person holding your deposit or your keys is part of that. Walls, baseboards, doors, frames and light fixtures. Bathrooms sanitized. Kitchen cabinets washed inside and out with the drawers taken out. We are family-owned, based in Clinton, with nearly 30 years of experience across Central Massachusetts, and we are fully insured, which matters when a landlord or a management company asks who is going into the property.

What this includes

  • Your landlord's or agent's checklist worked through line by line
  • Kitchen cabinets washed inside and out, drawers taken out — inspections open everything
  • The fridge and the oven cleaned inside — the two doors that always get opened
  • Bathrooms brought back to condition-statement standard: sinks, toilets, tubs, tile and floors
  • Walls, baseboards, doors and frames, including where the furniture stood
  • Light fixtures dusted and wiped down
  • Closet shelving and rails cleared of dust, floors washed after the last load

Common questions

You might be wondering

Will this get my deposit back?

We cannot promise that. The deposit is your landlord's decision and it can turn on damage that has nothing to do with cleaning. What we can do is take cleaning out of the argument, so the walkthrough is about the property rather than the state you left it in.

Does the place need to be completely empty?

Empty is best. Anything still in the property is a surface we cannot get behind or underneath, and those are exactly the places a walkthrough checks. If something has to stay — a couch going to the buyer, a bed being collected the next day — tell us when you book so we can plan around it.

My landlord gave me a checklist. Can you work from it?

Send it over with your quote request. Landlords and management companies word these things differently, and it is easier for everyone if we are reading the same list you are going to be judged against.

When should I book it?

As soon as you know your move date. Move-outs cluster at the end of the month and around the last weekend of it, so the earlier the date is in our diary, the easier it is to give you the slot you actually want.
