Retail Store Cleaning in Clinton, MA

Shoppers rarely mention a store's floor, but they read it the second they walk in. Scuffed vinyl, salt-marked tile inside the door and fingerprinted glass tell a customer what to expect before anyone greets them. We clean floors, glass and fitting rooms before you open, so the first impression is the one you paid for.

Retail floors cleaned to a shine

For owners and store managers in Clinton, Worcester, Leominster and Marlborough whose floors and door glass take a beating all day and have to look new again by opening time.

The floor is most of the job

Traffic wears a path down the middle of an aisle and dirt collects everywhere else — the edges, the corners, under the fixtures and along the shelf kickboards. We clean to the edges rather than to where the footfall shows. In a Central MA winter the entrance tile is the hardest-working surface in the building: grit, slush and road salt come through the door all day and dry to a grey film. That needs attention through the season, not one clean in April.

Glass at hand height and at child height

Entrance doors take fingerprints in two distinct bands, and a customer sees both. So do interior display cases, the inside face of window glass, glass shelving and the edges of counters. We do the frames and the bottom rail too, because a clean pane in a dusty frame reads as a cleaned store rather than a clean one.

Fitting rooms are where a sale gets lost

A full-length mirror shows every smear from two paces back, which is exactly where a customer stands. Benches pick up marks, hooks collect dust, and the floor under the bench gathers pins, price tags and receipts that the last customer never saw. Curtains and door edges take hands all day. It takes minutes per room and it is the single most noticeable thing on this list.

Common questions

You might be wondering

Can you clean before we open?

Yes. Before opening or after closing, whichever suits the store — we would rather be gone before your first customer arrives. Tell us your delivery days and your seasonal peaks and we will work around them rather than turning up in the middle of a restock.

Our entrance tile turns grey every winter. Can that be brought back?

Often a good deal of it, and we will tell you honestly what a particular floor will and will not come back to before you commit — some greyness is wear in the finish rather than dirt sitting on it. What helps most is frequency through the salt months instead of one hard clean at the end of the season.

Do you clean the fitting rooms and mirrors?

Yes, and we treat them as their own job rather than part of the general floor. Mirrors floor to top, benches, hooks, curtain and door edges, and the floor under the bench where pins, tags and receipts collect.

How often does a store need cleaning?

It depends on footfall and on what your floor is made of. A busy store on hard floor with a street entrance usually wants daily attention; a smaller store or one on carpet can hold up on a few visits a week. Tell us the size, the floor type and the door count and we will tell you what we would actually recommend.
