How do you handle the stairs?
As a room, not as a route between rooms. Treads and risers, the edges where dust gathers, the spindles and the banister, and the wall running alongside at hand height. On a carpeted staircase the tread edges are the part most often skipped.
We have three bathrooms for two people. Do they all need doing every visit?
Not necessarily. An unused bathroom still gathers dust and the trap can dry out, but it does not need the same work as the one in daily use. We can put the spare on a rotation and tell you what we are doing, rather than quietly skipping it.
Can you clean while I work from home upstairs?
Yes. We work in floor order, so we can leave your level until last or do it first and be gone from it. Tell us which you prefer and it becomes the routine.
Do you do the garage-level entry and the finished basement?
If you want them, yes. On a townhome the lower level is where salt and grit arrive first, so it is often the floor that needs it most. Tell us where the line is and we will hold it.
